The La Paz Bulbs and Accessories suite is a reminder of the beginning of the industrial revolution and a period of inventions. The La Paz is cleverly designed as a light source within a light source. For the end consumer the series is a play on what you "see" and what you "know".
Iris Kadouri started working on the La Paz project while studying at Central Saint Martin's and invested a great deal of time in developing it.

After exhibiting it at the ICFF 2002, and receiving excellent feedback there, Iris decided to get La Paz manufactured, and it took her over two years to perfect it. This design was born from the vision of a fresh idea, lots of hard work, an enormous amount of faith from manufacturers, and definitely more that just a little bit of luck. |
