Our Facilities
Iris Design Studio Ltd. Products are manufactured with the assistance of Kadouri Industrial Design Ltd. The company employs over 60 workers, and operates in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility covering 52.000 square feet – the largest plant of its kind in Israel – utilising the most advanced technologies, and working in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 standards. Electricity and Voltage
Iris Design Studio Ltd. has its products tested according to the required standards of the EU and the USA/Canada. All of our products are manufactured to suit two types of electric voltage:110-120V: For use in the USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries requiring this voltage.
220-230V: For use in the EU, Israel, East Europe, Middle East, and other countries requiring this voltage.
If the voltage in your country is neither 110-120V nor 220-230V, we will not be able to supply you with our products in most cases.

International Standards
Safety requirements appear in each product description on this website, and on the product itself. If a particular requirement does not appear on both the website and on the product, it is not valid.
  ETL – Many of our products are tested by Intertek Semko Labs and are ETL listed for cUL, meaning they comply with the safety requirements used in the USA and Canada. Our manufacturer’s number at Intertek is 3100226. Intertek tests our facility several times a year to guarantee that the products which have been ETL listed are produced according to their listings.
 CE – products which are CE marked are safe for use according to EU standards. We test our products for CE at either Hermon Labs or ITL labs in Israel. CE is a manufacturer’s declaration which means that the product is built according to the correct, safe standards of the EU.
 EMC – Certain products, which mostly include fluorescent fixtures, require additional safety odes when entering the EU. As a result, products such as the Olinda and Iguazu have been tested for EMC.
IP44 – Classifies products as waterproof for the above-the-sink area in residential and commercial bathrooms and WCs, according to EU standards. Most of our Perito Moreno mirrors are made to conform to IP44 standards, and have been tested for it by ITL Labs in Israel.
 cUL – The common standard for products which are used in the US and Canada. In some of our products the electrical element is a separate unit, and is already tested to cUL standards.
